1. Li Ang (3p) – China (CWA)
Nationality: China (resides in Serbia)
Title: Professional 3rd Dan (Chinese Weiqi Association – CWA)
Date of Birth: 1 September 1981, Beijing, China
Li Ang has been an active player on the professional stage since 1999, and is also a distinguished cultural ambassador known for his deep academic work on the history and culture of Go (Weiqi). He is regarded as the world's foremost collector of Weiqi cultural artworks. His collection includes more than 1,000 rare Go boards, stones, bowls and ancient manuscripts. He is the author of more than 30 books, including his renowned work "Yi Cang Tian Xia" (World Weiqi Treasures). He is also an expert in early-childhood Go education. Representing the Chinese Weiqi Association, he has taught in more than 20 countries across Europe, and he is the head coach of the Serbian National Go Team.

2. Cho Zuiketsu – Japan (Nihon Ki-in)
Title: Professional 6th Dan (Nihon Ki-in)
Born on 16 January 1999, Cho Zuiketsu studied under the late Takabayashi Takuji, professional 7th Dan, and became a professional Go player in 2014. He was promoted to 2nd Dan in 2016, 3rd Dan in 2018, 4th Dan in 2021, 5th Dan in 2022 and 6th Dan in 2023. In 2025, he was runner-up in the 50th Shinjin-O tournament (King of New Stars).
3. Hideki Enda (9p) – Japan (Special Guest)

4. Diána Kőszegi (2p) – Hungary
Nationality: Hungary
Title: Professional 2nd Dan
Diána Kőszegi is the first Hungarian professional Go player and, upon her promotion by the Korean Baduk Association on 4 January 2008, became the sixth European professional player. She began playing Go at the age of nine under her father's instruction and studied under Tibor Pocsai, the 1988 European Go Champion. As an amateur she placed 4th at the 1997 World Women Amateur Baduk Championship, won the European Youth Go Championship in 2000 and became Hungarian Go Champion in 2001, before moving to Seoul as an insei in 2005. She has taught Go online and translated the book "21st Century New Openings" into English, and remains a dedicated ambassador for Go in Europe. She is a familiar and beloved face in Türkiye, visiting frequently to share her knowledge through lectures, teaching and events. The Turkish Go community holds her in great affection, and her warm presence and generosity have made her a cherished friend of Go in Türkiye.
5. Wooju Lee (1p) – South Korea (KBA)

Title: Professional 1st Dan (Korean Baduk Association – KBA)
Date of Birth: 16 March 2004
South Korean professional player Wooju Lee is currently pursuing her academic studies in the Department of Baduk Studies at Myongji University. She has been actively teaching Go to children and adults for more than 3 years. She believes that Go brings people together beyond the boundaries of language and culture, and she takes great joy in helping beginners discover the fun world of Go.
6. Misei Taguchi (2p) – Japan (Kansai Ki-in)
Nationality: Japan
Title: Professional 2nd Dan (Kansai Ki-in)
Misei Taguchi is attending EGC 2026 representing the Japanese Kansai Ki-in. Highly familiar with the EGC atmosphere, Taguchi Sensei also served as a teacher at the European Go Congress nine years ago. Known for her friendly manner, strong Go knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching, Taguchi actively makes use of AI assistants (translation tools) at the congress to interact in English, in order to overcome communication barriers and offer participants the best possible experience.

7. Raeun Yoon (2p) – South Korea (KBA)
Nationality: South Korea
Title: Professional 2nd Dan (Korean Baduk Association – KBA)
Date of Birth: 21 September 2006
Although only 19 years old, she is one of South Korea's most notable talents. She achieved runner-up in the prestigious Hyorim Cup. She plays a very active role in professional Go broadcasts and in producing various Baduk content. Her aim is to share the beauty and depth of Go with players of every level and to make the game accessible to wider audiences.
