Türkiye is hosting the European Go Congress for the first time ever and you're invited!

We’re excited to welcome players, friends, and families from around the world to Ankara, the lively capital where Turkish Go first began.

Our home for these two weeks is the Beytepe Campus of Hacettepe University, a green, peaceful space right in the heart of the city. Think of it as a Go village: everything in one place, surrounded by nature, filled with people who love the game as much as you do.

During summer, Ankara has average highs of 30°C (86°F), and lows of 16°C (60°F). All main tournament areas are air-conditioned and stay comfortably cool throughout the day. Due to its low humidity, Ankara's evening temperatures drop significantly, where you might need a light jacket - even in the summer!
